Grappler's Edge Team Members qualified to compete in the U.S. World Grappling
Team Trials when they dominated the Rocky Mountain World Grappling
Team Trails Qualifier on May 17, 2008, in Pueblo, CO.
Brandon Ruiz (1st), Angie Poe (1st), Chilo Gonzalez (2nd), Joe
Trujillo (2nd), Eric Koble (3rd), Leo Snow (3rd) and Brett Tellis (3rd) all
qualified by placing in the top four of their weight classes.
Bahar Shahidi also qualified by winning the Southern California World
Grappling Team Trials on May 10, 2008 in Irvine, California, and Malcolm Havens
automatically qualifies as a returning U.S. World Team Member (and reigning
World Champion)!
3 Grappler's Edge Team Members also qualified for The U.S. Olympic
Team Trials! Matt Lackey qualified for the U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team Trials,
and Jeff Sato and Heidi Moore both qualified for the U.S. Olympic Judo Team
Trials!
